Two of her 4 children have been identified as students on the spectrum, her youngest will join the Polaris Bears as a student.  As a parent of a student with autism she has experienced the struggles of advocating for her own child and is assisting Polaris in developing systems and curriculum to meet his unique academic, behavioral, and speech needs.  Heidi is passionate about autism, advocacy, and education.  Her experience in secondary school both as a high school assistant principal and director of college and career readiness make her a great partner for opening our high school expansion in the years to come. Heidi is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Polaris and its students to meet and exceed individual goals.
