Polaris Academy PTO is a federally recognized tax-exempt public charity under Internal Revenue Code §501(c)(3).  Its mission is to:

“Empower parents, students, schools, and the community by organizing and providing academic, social, life skill, and community resources to elevate the growth, capacity, independence, and education of autistic and neurodivergent children.”

Children with special needs require special tools, equipment, processes, and resources to help them navigate and overcome the many challenges life will bring.  But most of all, they need special people that take notice and are willing to make a difference.

Many of the uniquely designed programs and student aid materials at Polaris Academy, such as the S.T.E.M. Discovery Center, Culinary Experience Room, and Intentional Play Gym, are supported by the ongoing efforts of the PTO with additional after-school and extra-curricular programs in development.
