Haley Palmer

Haley Palmer is thrilled to be the Director of Starlight Behavior Academy!

Haley understands the importance of early intervention and is passionate about creating a positive experience during the start of a family’s autism journey. Creating an Early Learning Center that blends academics and therapies has always been in the forefront as she has worked with autistic children and their families for the last 13+ years. She has experience working in the Gilbert Public School District, clinic settings, private schools, and in-home settings.

She graduated from Arizona State University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education and a masters’ degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a dual certified teacher in the areas of Early Childhood Education and Special Education.

As the director of Starlight Behavior Academy, she is passionate about blending her teaching style into all programs that she oversees. Some things she is passionate about is supporting students by tailoring instruction for each student based on their individual needs and strengths. She believes that students learn through play, hands-on activities, and lessons that are meaningful and relevant to them. Her mission to support students in gaining their highest level of independence in the areas of social emotional regulation, academics, socialization/communication, and behavior are a key component of the foundation of Starlight. She is passionate about a collaborative approach with students, families, therapists, and caregivers to ensure generalization and long-term success.
