Eligibility Requirements
Our vision is for Polaris Academy to promote a positive learning experience and environment where students are able to discover and act on their diverse potential. To meet that vision, the programs, curriculum, and staff at Polaris Academy are designed and trained to assist the following profile of students:
- Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Children with other neurodivergent disorders which may include, but not be limited to: ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and 22Q
- Students with other learning disabilities
- Children who struggle in typical schools with social communication difficulties, speech and language challenges, learning challenges, and unusual responses to sensory input
- Children who do not exhibit aggressive behaviors or require an 1:1 aide
- Children between the ages of 5 – 14 years old
